1. Use of the App

You agree to the following when using the App:

• Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or submitting reports.
• Permitted Use: You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to submitting spam, false or misleading reports, or content that is harmful, offensive, or illegal.
• Environmental Reports: Reports submitted through the App must relate to genuine environmental issues, such as pollution, deforestation, or waste management concerns.
• Compliance: You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using the App.

2. User Content

Any content you submit to the App, including photos, videos, and reports, is considered “User Content.” Your rights and responsibilities regarding User Content are as follows:

• Ownership: You retain ownership of the User Content you upload to the App.
• License Grant: By submitting User Content, you grant PlaneteerApp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and display the content for purposes including verification of reports, raising environmental awareness, conducting research, improving our services, and training or enhancing AI models used by the App.
• Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. PlaneteerApp reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

3. Limitations of Liability

PlaneteerApp provides a platform to report and address environmental issues, but we are not responsible for the following:

• Inaction or delayed action by responders or authorities in addressing reported issues.
• Outcomes, damages, or losses resulting from environmental issues reported through the App.
• Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the App due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, to the extent permitted by law.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

4. Modifications to the App

PlaneteerApp reserves the right to update, modify, or suspend the App at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such changes or interruptions.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we believe is harmful to the App, its users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease, but any obligations (e.g., regarding User Content) will survive.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting us at contact@planeteer.app. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue legal action in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
